HIs Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses for the Dai'e or Muballigh and people entrusted to preserve the religion to disseminate religious advice honestly and sincerely without doubt or fear. His Majesty says that in these turbulent times, religious advices are very much needed, as long as the advices meet the syarak requirements of the Ahli Sunnah Waljama'ah school of thought and the approaches used do not have elements of mockery or sedition.
His Majesty emphasised these in the Titah in conjunction with Hari Raya 'Idil Adha 1446 Hijrah, 2025, broadcast nationwide. 'Idil Adha, His Majesty said in the titah, refers to the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail 'Alaihumassalam.
